This is a fast and easy to make Chowder – I made it because it was a little cold this evening, and I fancied something a little different. This is the best vegetable-based chowder ever, and will be a staple amongst those wishing to serve something very flavourful and comforting – ideal towards the end of the winter – to mark the end of it, and the beginning of the new season ahead. My last [...]

I am proud, well proud of this stew. It melts in your mouth, but not without cheering your taste buds first. This stew is in part inspired by the many different stews I have made over the years – the result is astounding in terms of taste and texture. As for the aroma, well that’s in a league of its own. The combination of vegetables chosen are all-time favourites for many people worldwide (feel free [...]

Crisp on the outside, moist and delicious on the inside. These pies are going to be a staple this winter. Because they are so easy to make, and so delicious – and also because the requests at our table were so full of cheer and enthusiasm for making them again. So I am sharing with you a wondrous English-influenced pie (love the Brits for this), that is so mouthwatering that this winter is going to [...]

This three green soup is sublime – truly. Packed with nutrients, it’s going to be a regular in this household. I mean, what could be better when one not only eats for pleasure, but also enjoys health benefits at the same time. A twist of lime (now almost one of my trademarks) puts this soup in a league of its own. Make it, taste it, share it, and most of all, enjoy it ! Serves [...]

This soup is simply delicious and so simple to make – and the rewards lie in the taste. My young daughter loved it, and she is a fussy eater, I have to say. The combination of ingredients result in a very satisfying taste and texture – one of those ‘must repeat’ soups. Gentle, yet full of flavour. Enjoy with some crunchy brown bread. Nutritious and delicious in a bowl. Serves 3 to 4 as a [...]
