Epic-Christmas-Vegan-Savoury-Loaf/Roast

Many people have been telling me that they wish they could prepare their Christmas dinner a day ahead, always concerned about having time to enjoy the day itself.  It is for that reason that I have created this dish.  The parsnips and carrots are already integrated into this dish, and therefore you only need to prepare some roast potatoes and brussels sprouts on the day. Of course the potatoes can be peeled and cut a […]

Super Raw Brain Juice

‘Super Nuclear Brainstorm Booster’ – packed with insanely delicious raw ingredients ! The blueberry has also been referred to as the ‘brain berry’ (great for the memory), the many health benefits of extra virgin coconut oil are legendary (again including memory), and flaxseed is known to reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke and diabetes (and once again memory – as healthy blood vessels aid optimal brain function).  Then chia seeds are full of […]

Express Cozy Chowder

This is a fast and easy to make Chowder – I made it because it was a little cold this evening, and I fancied something a little different. This is the best vegetable-based chowder ever, and will be a staple amongst those wishing to serve something very flavourful and comforting – ideal towards the end of the winter – to mark the end of it, and the beginning of the new season ahead.  My last […]

First Proper & Best-Ever Vegan ‘Egg Mayonnaise’ (Egg Salad) Sandwich

I have been creating and re-creating the vegan hard-boiled egg for many months now – the ‘yolk’ was a masterpiece in the making, but the ‘white’ was simple . . . just tofu.  My British partner loves ‘Egg Mayonnaise’ sandwiches and has missed them. As a student I worked in one of London’s great city sandwich shops called ‘Crumbs of Comfort’  – they made a mean egg mayo and I learnt many tricks and secrets […]

Serves 1 (double for 2) INGREDIENTS 1 ripe avocado 1 ripe mango 1 tsp sesame seeds (preferably raw) DRESSING ¼ […]

Smoked Chilli Feast

This is a delightful chilli. I served mine with a mixture of short grain brown rice and pearl barley mixed – I boiled the two together.  Then I dolloped on a couple of spoons of vegan yoghurt, and some plain tortillas. INGREDIENTS olive oil 1 400g tin crushed tomatoes 1 large onion, finely chopped 5 cloves garlic, chopped 2 cups veggie mince (I use Linda McCartney myself) 1 400g tin borlotti beans 1 cup cooked […]
