This Shake is delightfully full-flavoured, chilled and ever so crazy with deliciousness. So, I made this to accompany my “3 Layered Breakfast Toast Fit for a KING” recipe (http://mouthwateringvegan.com/2011/06/12/3-layered-breakfast-toast-fit-for-a-king/). I wanted tastes to compliment the savoury treasure. The result – a memorable shake you will want to repeat again, and again. It’s our Sunday special treat – so treat yourself and enjoy, Cheers to You !
- 1 ripe frozen banana
- ½ pint of vegan milk (soya or coconut should do the trick, but you will need a rich, creamy one)
- ½ pint of chilled water
- 1 tbsp agave nectar syrup
- 3-4 ice cubes
- 2 tbsp rolled oats
- 2 tbsp raw blanched almonds
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Place all the ingredients in your liquidizer except for the half pint of the water. Process until smooth, then add the water and process again. Make sure there are no lumps, and that it’s nice and frothy on top. Pour and Enjoy !
